Google will commemorate the New Year 2023 with a special doodle.
Google is
ringing in the New Year with a special animated doodle as the world welcomes
2023.
The Google
Doodle for the New Year depicts 2022 becoming 2023 as firecrackers explode
around Google's logo. While the Google logo's alphabets have been represented
as New Year decorations, the digits 2022 and 2023 have eyes and mouths to
personify them as humans.
When you click
on the New Year Google Doodle, a new web page opens that displays search
results for "New Year's Day 2023" while confetti falls on the screen.
There is a
party popper cone just below the search bar if you want to have even more fun.
When you click on the party cone, another confetti shower will occur.
A similar
Google Doodle appeared on New Year's Eve. It was ready to pop into 2023 from
2022. "Whether you're setting off fireworks or making plans for the coming
year, here's to great things in 2023!" For the New Year's Eve doodle,
Google said.
The first
day of the year, according to the Gregorian calendar, is January 1. People all
over the world celebrate the New Year by spending quality time with their
families, friends, and loved ones.
People also
make New Year's Resolutions in order to establish goals for the coming year.
They hope to make the most of the New Year and achieve greater life goals.
Since
COVID-19 dampened New Year's celebrations in the previous two years, people all
over the world are ringing in 2203 with a bang. While COVID-19 cases have
increased in China in recent days, authorities all over the world are taking
precautions to keep people safe.
